The latest generation of DD type gas sensors is based on proven catalytic bead principles. The innovative double active element produces good long-term zero stability. Dräger has again raised the standard for resistance to poisons. Its long service life ensures that the cost of ownership remains low. Performance measurements have also been improved. The innovative gas inlet allows the sensor to detect gas in just a few seconds.
The same design, the same operating principle
Polytron 5000 is part of the Dräger Polytron 5000 series. All transmitters in this series have the same design and interface. This allows uniform operation with fewer training and maintenance requirements.
Backlight display clearly shows status information with quick access to functions using nonintrusive magnetic bars. Gas concentrations and measurement units are displayed during normal operation. Colored (green, yellow and red) LEDs provide additional alarm and status information.
Safe and sturdy casing for every application
Polytron 5200 is equipped with a Class I explosion-proof casing, Div. 1 made of aluminum or stainless steel, making it suitable for use in a variety of environmental conditions. The "e" version protection type includes a docking station that makes it easy to install in a dangerous atmosphere without the need to pull the channel (in an approved place).
